Lori Holt grew up as a Farmer's Daughter (grand daughter of a farmer too). Both of her parents grew up on farms as did their parents before them passing down to Lori their rich tradition of hard work, resourcefulness, and a love for the land. She and her brothers and sisters were raised with a deep, true rural heritage. Her childhood was spent in the sunshine herding sheep, riding horses, helping in the kitchen, climbing trees surrounded by family. She learned the values of faith, perseverance, and creativity and those experiences shaped who Lori is today. Sewing was a way of life.
