French Sashiko Prairie Cloth was designed by French General for Moda Fabrics. It is a medium to heavyweight 44" wide 100% cotton fabric known for its visible, textured weave that mimics the look of antique Japanese cloth used for repairs. The weight is similar to a light canvas. It works well for sashiko embroidery, boro style repair stitching, other hand embroidery slow stitching projects and for making bags and totes.
